About Us

  • Sustainable Farming

We have always tried to run our farm using the most sustainable practices. Sustainable farming encompasses soil care as it’s core. You have the basics right, and the rest falls into place. Sustainable farming will always use the least amount of energy and resources it takes to produce a result, thereby reducing our carbon footprint. For our part, as farmers we share the ecological landscape. Adopting Sustainable Agricultural Systems that are both responsible and inevitable if we are to reduce pressure on our eco system. Sustainable Agriculture can be described as farming practices that are environmentally sound, profitable, productive and maintain the integrity of the rural community.

  • Family Owned & Managed

Originally owned by Ben and Margaret Fielder, the cottage was built in 1904. The property was passed down to their son, Frank. We purchased the seventy eight acre farm, in 1996 from Frank Fielder’s partner, Lottie Sherry’s estate, after falling in love with the area and realising the opportunity to utilise our horticultural qualifications & building background to restore part of this properties original history dating back to the early 1900's.

  • U-Pick & Markets

Our You -pick berry season runs from December through to March each year, enabling visitors to pick their own fresh raspberries, blackberries & blueberries. When out of season, you'll find us at one of the nearby local markets with our Gypsy Van selling our ice cream and Belgian waffles.
